The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings are proud to announce that Will Tricarico has officially signed a professional contract with the Minnesota Northern Lights of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL). Another Riverkings alum is heading to the pro ranks — and Will earned every bit of it.
Will Tricarico: A Proven Goal‑Scoring Force
With the Riverkings (USPHL):
- 39 goals in a single season — a franchise record
- One of the most dangerous shooters in program history
- High‑motor forward with elite finishing ability and relentless compete
At Illinois State University (ACHA):
- Continued his scoring touch at the collegiate level
- Key contributor with strong two‑way play
- Developed into a mature, pro‑ready forward with size, pace, and leadership
The Minnesota Northern Lights are a new Single-A professional minor league ice hockey team based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
