Diamond Nets 4 in Season Opener; USPHL Forward of the Week

Noa Diamond was selected as the North Division Forward of the Week by the USPHL with his 9-point weekend performance. The Montreal, Quebec native scored 5 goals and added 4 assists over two games; four goals, a hat trick plus one, in game two of the weekend.

“Noa dominated every zone in the rink and constantly gave us opportunities to jump on offense,” said Head Coach and General Manager Paul Pechmann.

The Riverkings opened the season with back-to-back victories in Minneapolis, playing the MN Mullets at Augsburg Arena. The team won 7-0 and 10-1.
