Cain Russell, a Center from the U.K. for the 2022-2023 Riverkings has decided to head home for the season.
“I thought saying goodbye was going to be easier but honestly that was the hardest thing I ever did. It was an honour to be a Riverking and work with you. Thank you for everything, This season will stay with me forever. I may have lost the love for hockey but I honestly can say I had the best time of my life with all of you. Thank you.” – Russell’s statement to Coach Pechmann and Riverkings teammates.
Cain played 28 games for the Riverkings this season scoring 2 goals and 11 assists, for a total of 13 points.
