Friday the Riverkings won a hard fought game against the Moose, 2-1. After a scoreless first period, Andrew Rothmeier started things off in the second period with the help of Jordan Stear. Jeff Rebmann managed to score a highlight goal to get the Riverkings to a 2-0 lead.
Saturday night the Riverkings came up short @SWCRC Vs the Moose in a tough weekend battle picking up a split. This exciting match up had our fans on the edge of their seats with both games being decided by one goal. Jeff Rebmann led the way with a goal and two assists, Justin Davis had one goal and one assist, and Ben Pizzimenti (pictured) picked up the third goal.
The boys head to the USPHL Midwest Minnesota showcase this week with a 6-2-1 record as they play the Moose on Thursday in Blain MN. (the team plays four games in three days)
New this year, there will be a post game hang out open for the players and fans at Ida’s Sports Bar and Grill. Kitchen is open until 11pm! There will also be drink specials!
