For the third week in a row a Wisconsin Rapids Riverking has been named to the USPHL Premier Midwest West Division Player of the Week.
Goaltender: Ian Tumm, Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings
The Riverkings counted on some top notch goaltending to help build on its best stretch of hockey in a while with four wins in its past five games and a 2-1 weekend against some top teams. Tumm (’04/Carmel, N.Y.) went to the crease for the middle game in Elk River, Minn, stopping 46 of 48 to lead the Riverkings to a 5-2 win against the host Squatch.
