The Riverkings are excited to announce the signing of 6’3 returning goaltender, Ethan Blackburn. This will be Blackburn’s second year as a Riverking. In the prior season, Blackburn led his team to Nationals, while achieving a 1.26 GAA and a .935 SV%.
Assistant Coach Zack Hartley says, “Ethan will be a great addition to our lineup, as well as in the locker room. He came into his first season with us during the 2019-2020 season as a young goalie that needed some development and maturing. He returns as a mature and developed goalie that is hungry to help his team succeed in any way possible. Due to his father growing up in Wisconsin Rapids, he knows the community and is eager to make a positive impact. We are looking forward to having Ethan back in town.”
